At the Group AGM in March the following Officers were elected

2009 / 2010 GROUP ACTIVITIES
During 2009 the Group held a workshop at Stevenage with opera singer Christine Bunning followed by a joint concert with Stevenage Ladies and Luton MVC. This concert provided much needed funds for the Group to cover running costs.
On Sat 20 March 2010 the Group organised a concert as part of the NAC Conference at Hitchin. Six Group choirs took part
Chess Valley MVC, Hertfordshire Community Youth Choir, Luton MVC, Stevenage Ladies Choir, Stevenage MVC, Three Valleys MVC
The Choirs sang individually and together for four communal items.
The choirs did you all proud and it was a very successful concert our especial thanks to last years chair person, Anne-Marie Chessman (MD Stevenage Ladies & Hertfordshire Youth Community Choirs) and her team for organising it all.
2010 / 2011 - THE YEAR TO COME
A priority for this coming year will be to aid communication within the Group by improving this web site and then by encouraging all choirs to use it, to promote our individual choir concerts and to seek to share expertise and experience. We shall notify you all when modifications have been completed.
We are also planning to hold a Group seminar to share our experience of supporting youth choirs and of our success in encouraging young people to join our choirs. Planning is at an early stage but we should welcome contributions from choirs on their successes, or failures, in this endeavour. We hope you will all be able to support this event.
We believe that there is great potential in sharing best practice in all aspects of choir management. We welcome suggestions for further seminars.
